Built for e-commerce

Win organic traffic before the ad budget runs out.

Ecommerce SEO is the work of getting your product and category pages found — by shoppers searching, and now by the AI assistants they ask first. SearchChamp clusters keywords onto the PDPs that should win them, tracks whether AI engines recommend your store for 'best X' queries, and audits for the crawl issues that quietly sink rankings. Fixes push straight to Shopify in seconds, so the backlog actually ships instead of sitting in a report.

Product page SEO

A weekly ranked PDP backlog — by revenue impact.

SearchChamp surfaces the product pages with the highest ranking potential each week so your team ships updates to the pages that actually move GMV, not just the homepage. One-click push to Shopify in ~30 seconds. Ranking is scored against your own domain, so a PDP you can realistically reach outranks a category term you cannot — which is what stops a catalogue of 4,000 SKUs turning into a backlog nobody starts. Each item carries what to change and why it was ranked where it was, so the work hands to a merchandiser without an SEO translating it first. Progress is reported per page, so a PDP that moved after your edit is visible as an outcome rather than an assumption.

  • Weekly audit surfaces the highest impact-to-effort PDPs first
  • AI drafts match your brand voice and SERP-winning keyword density
  • One-click push to Shopify — title, meta, description in ~30 seconds
  • Automated crawl catches noindex issues and broken canonicals early

AI-engine citations

Track whether AI engines recommend your store — before you lose the sale.

If an AI assistant recommends a competitor's store, there's no click to lose and no signal to catch — unless you're tracking it. That is what makes this different from every other channel you measure: a lost sale here leaves no trace in your analytics at all, because the shopper never arrived. SearchChamp monitors your store across all eight engines and alerts when you lose a recommendation slot, so a competitor's launch or a reshuffled answer shows up as a dated regression rather than an unexplained soft month.

  • Track 'best X for Y' citation share across all 8 AI engines
  • See exactly which competitor pages get the citation you should own
  • Alerts when you lose a recommendation slot
  • Structured data and schema markup audited per PDP

AI shopping visibility

Track your products in AI shopping answers — and catch a wrong price before a customer does.

For Shopify-connected stores, SearchChamp proposes shopping-intent prompts straight from your catalog — 'best waterproof hiking boots under $150', 'trail runners for flat feet' — for you to approve into the same AI Visibility tracking you already run. Where an engine exposes a structured shopping result, we capture the product, its position and the price shown; engine coverage of shopping surfaces is partial and varies, so the surface tells you plainly when an engine simply doesn't expose one instead of showing a false zero.

  • Shopping prompts proposed from real catalog data — nothing to write by hand
  • Product, position and displayed price captured wherever an engine exposes a shopping result
  • A wrong quoted price raises a critical issue with both numbers side by side
  • Honest per-engine states — we say so when an engine exposes no shopping results

SearchChamp is the first SEO tool that didn't pretend AI search was a side-quest — we can finally see which AI engines cite us and fix the gaps from one dashboard.

We put SearchChamp in front of a client who'd dropped out of ChatGPT answers. Two audit fixes later they were cited again, and we kept the retainer.

I check one number every week — our share of voice across the eight AI engines. It went from invisible to top-three on our buyer prompts in a quarter.

I draft against both the top-ranking pages and what the AI engines actually quote. Three of our guides got picked back up by Perplexity within a month.

Switching felt like an upgrade, not a downgrade. Rank tracking across Google, Bing and the AI Overviews in one view instead of three dashboards.

I almost renewed Ahrefs out of habit. SearchChamp gives me the same data engine plus AI visibility for less, so I made the switch and didn't look back.

I moved every client off their legacy SEO suite. Same keyword data backbone I trusted, plus AI-engine tracking those tools still don't have.

Questions from ecommerce teams

It is the work of making your product and category pages findable for the searches that end in a purchase — and, increasingly, making them citable by the assistants shoppers ask before they search. In practice it splits three ways: technical health (can crawlers reach and read a catalogue of thousands of near-identical pages), page-level relevance (does this PDP actually answer the query it targets), and authority. Ecommerce differs from other SEO mainly in scale: the same fix applied across 4,000 SKUs is the whole game, which is why prioritisation matters more than any individual optimisation.
Start from the query the page should win, not from the product description you already have. A PDP that ranks tends to carry a title matching how people actually search rather than the internal SKU name, a description answering the buying questions (sizing, materials, compatibility, what it is not for), genuine specifics rather than manufacturer boilerplate every other retailer also published, product schema so engines can read price and availability, and reviews. SearchChamp scores each of those per page and ranks the backlog by which fix moves revenue.
Indirectly, and that is exactly why it is easy to miss. Being named in an assistant's answer does not itself convert — it decides whether you make the shortlist a shopper then buys from. The practical effect shows up as demand you never see: a soft month with no obvious analytics cause, because the shoppers who would have arrived were pointed elsewhere before they searched. Tracking citation share is how that becomes a visible number rather than a hunch.
