Site Audit

Audit your site — and actually fix it

SearchChamp's Site Auditor runs four analysis lenses in parallel, scores your site 0–100, ranks issues by impact, and writes the fix — applying supported fixes to WordPress or Shopify in one click (others ship as paste-ready code). Every page also gets an AI-readiness score, graded against each AI engine's known access and extraction rules.

What gets audited

Four lenses, one crawl: technical, AI-readiness, content decay, and meta

Every crawl runs four lenses at once — technical SEO (broken links, redirect chains, robots.txt, sitemaps, canonicals, hreflang, JavaScript rendering), AI-crawl/GEO readiness, content decay, and on-page meta. 200+ technical & AI-readiness checks (growing), every one ranked by estimated traffic impact.

What gets audited

Four analysis lenses, run in parallel — then ranked by impact on your keywords.

AI-written fixes

Classic auditors flag problems. SearchChamp writes the fix — and applies it.

For missing alt text, broken canonicals, weak titles and meta, and incomplete schema, Claude writes the fix and applies most directly to your WordPress site in one click — Shopify apply is theme-dependent, and some schema (like byline/author) is advisory-only. Issues that need engineering ship as tickets with full reproducer context.

  • One-click apply to WordPress (Shopify where the theme supports it)
  • Paste-ready code for everything else
  • Engineering-only issues filed with full context
AI-Readiness score

Score every page against each AI engine's known access and extraction rules

Each page gets a 0–100 AI-Readiness score: Access (40) + Structure (25) + Extractability (25) + Credibility (10) — scored against each engine's known access and extraction rules. It's the only auditor scoring pages for AI extractability — it even penalizes the keyword-stuffing (over 4% term frequency) that old on-page checkers reward.

How it works

Crawl → score → fix → re-audit — in a few minutes

01
Crawl

SearchChamp crawls your site with headless Chrome — parsing HTML, JSON-LD, links, images, and Core Web Vitals exactly as Google renders them.

A few minutes
02
Score

Every issue gets a severity AND a keyword-impact score; every page gets a 0–100 AI-Readiness score across Access, Structure, Extractability, and Credibility.

03
Fix

Alt text, canonicals, titles, meta, and schema get AI-written fixes you apply to WordPress (or Shopify where the theme supports it) in one click. Everything else ships paste-ready code or a ticket.

04
Re-audit

Re-crawl on demand or on a weekly schedule (Pro and above) and watch your score climb. SearchChamp alerts you the moment a regression appears.

Common audit issues — alt text, canonicals, titles, schema — get AI-written fixes you apply to WordPress (or Shopify where the theme supports it) in one click. The rest land as tickets with full reproducer context, so there's no manual triage.

FAQ

Questions about Site Audit

Four analysis lenses in parallel — technical SEO (broken links, redirect chains, robots.txt, sitemaps, canonicals, hreflang, JavaScript rendering), AI-crawl/GEO readiness, content decay, and on-page meta — across 200+ checks, each ranked by estimated traffic impact.
Classic auditors flag problems and stop there. SearchChamp writes the fix — Claude generates paste-ready code for missing alt text, broken canonicals, weak titles and meta, and incomplete schema — and applies most of them directly to WordPress in one click.
You can, and for a small site it's a reasonable way to learn what the checks mean. It stops scaling quickly: crawling a few hundred pages by hand, re-checking after every change, and keeping up with each AI engine's access rules is where manual auditing breaks down. The useful division is to understand the checks yourself and let the crawl, the scoring, and the re-audit run automatically.
Not a real one. ChatGPT can explain SEO concepts and review a page you paste in, but it can't crawl your site, see your rankings, check what a specific crawler is allowed to fetch, or verify a fix actually shipped — and it has no view of which issues affect the keywords you care about. SearchChamp uses AI for the parts AI is good at (writing the fix, explaining the cause) on top of a real crawl and real ranking data.
